potency vs. capsize

I'm a newbie and have some questions in dire need of answering. I got some Psilo-cubensis Amazonian grown on BRF cakes from an FC with perlite and temp/hum at 73/97. The cakes were put in the FC without Dunking and Rolling. The cakes fruited but the fruits had long stems but small caps from a 1/2inch to 3/4inch. There were also plenty of aborts. They also started to turn blue. I know now that the bluing was caused from lack of moisture inside the cakes. I'm totally lost This past weekend I must have eaten roughly 8-9 shrooms with stems 3-4 inches long and caps between 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch in width and barely felt anything but a slight buzz. They were picked and eaten right off the cakes. Should I eat more? Would the lack of moisture cause the lack of potency or are the shrooms garbage? I got the spores from THE. Please HELP!!!!!

eat more.
you inoculated with a spore syringe, or a spore made liquid culuture. I can tell.
the potency is your strain. not Amazon, the stain that fruited (substrain). there is nothing wrong with the spores, this is life with a multispore inoculation. sad as it is, it is true.
when you use spores, you will never be able to make consitent potent shrooms. No matter the substrate. it is a crapshoot, and this time you lost. try again.
the next flush from that cake could produce whoppers. the cake next to this one could produce whoppers. the very same cake and very same flush could have fruits of varying potency on it from it containing a few different strains fruiting at once that did not undergo anastomosis.
what I'm saying is that nothing you can do besides using a nutrient rich substrate and optimal parameters will improve your potency. You need a strain isolate that works well for your in your setup. that also produces potent fruits of course.

Make sure you dunk and roll next time.

Nice sig bzflag..........
Cub mushrooms have a pretty equal potency. What matters most is what they were grown on. Fuiting cakes tend to not be as powerful as casings with any substrate. They are still very powerful though...
Cap size certainly doesnt matter, although the less developed the mushroom is, the more potent it is. Small and ugly(fatigued shrooms) are more potent than large beautiful shrooms weight wise.
They are ALL very effective, but depending on how you grew them, they might not be what you are used to. Maybe less potent.
Your spores didnt just suck or some shit. Eat more, read about psi mushrooms. DOnt be so disappointed. You grew some shrooms. Adapt to the fact that your shrooms dont meet up to your standards. Your spores have much more potential if they "let you down" in any way........... If you eat 2 grams dry, and cant feel any psychedelic effects, then you are the problem, as shitty as your shrooms could possibly be.. Same thing though, if thats the case then just eat more.
