Since I made up both my poo bags and my double tub,The tub looks to be coming along nicely but still has a ways to go.Some of my poo bags are already completely colonized and some are only like half way there.I assume its OK to leave the fully colonized one in there till the others catch up before I turn the light on them isn't it ?? Also is it normal that they seem to have created a yellowish liquid that is accumulating at the bottom of the bags(this is myc piss right??)Thanks for any feedback

Anyone ??
# 1 Am I OK to leave the fully colonized ones alone till the others catch up so I can just turn the light on all of them at the same time or should I separate the fully colonized ones and expose them to light now ??
#2 Is the yellowish liquid they are creating harmful in any way ??
Thank you

They will eventually drown in the myc piss. You need to move it to a cool area to let the others catch up. Or even better just use it right away and do the others when their time comes.

It's not good for them IME. It will only cause problems if it builds up to a high level though. It's symptomatic of over-colonization or too high of temps IME. Myc piss has a low pH and is generally not good to have IMO.
Some people claim it may have antibiotic properties. In my research I have noticed that myc sometimes produces a zone of bacterial inhibition around itself. It doesn't seem very powerful though and is usually broken through at some point, so I assume it's a weak and non-specific effect. I don't think "myc piss" is likely to have what most researchers would call antibiotic activity, but that's just an educated guess. P. Stamets has done some research on the subject and it seems that around 45% of mushrooms have some antibiotic effects.
I'm assuming that RR was saving this to rub in my face at a later date, so I'll post the links now.

fully colonized jars should be in the fridge if they are awaiting their turn.
take from fridge about 12-24 hours before use, so the mycelium can wake up a bit and scratch it's eyes.
