Need to fruit brown rice jars soon. Help...

I have a couple brown rice jars that are about 99% colonized, but the jars are not a brilliant white, you can still see some vermiculite. Is this normal? I was under the impression that I should give it a few more days, however due to a time restraint I would like to put these in the fruting chamber asap. Is this advisable? I was jsut thinking to scrape off any uncolonized vermiculite and then fruit. Any suggestions?

I will hold them off as long as I can, but is the less brillant white normal? Will it eventually go into complete white?

yes its normal to some extent. moreso if you really packed your jars in tight. assuming theres not big uncolonized areas or anything, a little verm showing through isnt a problem. they will fluff up and whiten up once birthed. dont try scraping it off, you'll do more harm than good.
i know you want to get them going quickly but you should take pause to dunk, it will get you to your end result faster in the long run even if it seems like its delaying you now. even if you dunk for like 6 hours then put into the fc, they will benefit greatly.

I dont think its cobweb, I have had cobweb jars before. I will get some pics on here by tonight. But it has the stringy growth, Rhizmorphic?
