Argentinian cubensis - stage one!

Okay - i received this cubensis strain from mushroom madness and this is my prgoress.
I made a mix of agar agar and malt extract in sterile jars (all outta petris) and also a couple of malt/water jars. They spores all germinated on agar in approx. five days and germinated in malt/water in six days with constant and quite obvious rhizomorphic mycelia - i dont know which oen to isolate!!

hey blue, is it cubensis? or subcubensis? their web site describes it as a subcubensis.

How do you isolate a strain?

The difference between subcubensis and cubensis is sporesize - and i think ecuadors are a subcubensis. Isolation is basically cutting out rhizomorphic sectors of agar and transplanting them to new petris

I am from Argentina, and if there the ones I think they are, they call them "Cucumelos" meaning "Cucu candy"
I my self never had them.
Were did you get the strain?
