my rack has a gap in it that would otherwise leave 2 jars touching the bottom. i just toss a wad of foil in to fill it up.

i also do put a foil wrap around spawnbags. it changes color and other cool science stuff.

that works just fine.  just crumple and fold the foil a bit, just to put space between the bottom and the jars.
Aluminum conducts heat, but more importantly, it adjusts quickly to its surrounding temp.    the foil is going to be the same temperature as the water around it.
i still do this in one of my PC.  the PC smells different when i use a rag, and i dont prefer it.

well i'll be.  i guess i just cant picture it in my PC holding any sort of shape under the weight of 5 loaded quarts or under 2 dozen half pinters... and i kind of like the smell of pressure cooked rag, it smells like... accomplishment  :congrats:

i dunno i heard that back in the day old folks like that used to use PCs for cooking food?

i cant imagine it

i mean... i thought everybody put foil wrapped jars of bird feed and bags full of horse shit and dirty syringes in theirs... what a world!

but to get back on topic, that must be why they're available in thrift stores... robots killing off the uninsured old folks and their heirs must be selling off their PCs to pay funeral expenses.... it all makes sense

PC rule of thumb:  put your PC through test runs so that you know it functions, and you know how to operate it correctly, before putting anything in it.

in fact that goes for FCs, incubators, whatever.  test yer shit out before subjectng your grow to it folks

That's what I'm going to do today, test my thrif PC.

I agree, it's a little wasteful to do before testing and I'm a newb

Look at the atoms in the air and allow your mind to see the other planes that coexists in the same physical space where you sit. There are vibrational strings in each and every atom containing infinite realities, universes, and dimensions. Multidimensional beings and entities are RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU!!! Only gravity and mental energy can pass through these different atomic branes and mushrooms can break the mental/spiritual membranes separating one reality from the other. TAKE A LOOK!
