If he's out there risking life and limb when 2008 comes along, that will put quite the edge on his campaign.

I like McCain. I just hope he ditches the Bible thumpers cock suckers or at least use them to get into the White House and then not do shit for them.

I love McCain, he's probably one of the most honest men in Washington DC right now, I was wishing so hard that would win the 2000 election, but yeah, we are were we are now. Its kinda depressing.

It would be nice if politicians themselves would fight in the wars they wage. The last example of that I can think of would be Teddy Roosevelt.

I saw John McCain on tv the other day with Jerry Falwell. What the fuck is that all about? Hand in hand on a podium. Since when he throw in with that group of snakes and weasels?
And SS: TR wasnt president when he was in the SA war, unless your referring to his son in WW1...

He was vice president. The war was his idea, and he led the charge. Granted, it wasn't much of a fight.

The link doesn't work for me.
Since when he throw in with that group of snakes and weasels?
Since the South Carolina primary vs. GW some years ago.
Politics make for strange bedfellows. You have to make nice with the religous right these days to secure the Republican nomination. Just put a clothespin on your nose and you're good to go.
