Ultra sonic question?

This might be a stupid question, but here it goes. How should I connect a tude up to an ultra sonic humidifier? What I have tryied is just duct taping the tube to it, but it always falls off. How do the guys get it to stay perfect in those teks?

connect the tube to a funnel.
cut the funnel so that it fits perfectly.

it will kind of snap into place.
or I suppose you could use a soda bottle.
gorilla tape is fine to connect the tube to the funnel/bottle.

I got a hose adapter from the hardware store where 1"  clear hose is...
I then got a top to a ziplock Tupperware food container, cut off a circle of it that would cover the output hole on the humidifier. After that, i cut a hole in the middle of it put the adapter through it so it fit snuggly. I got a hot glue gun (or any kind of thick sealant), and sealed the edges on both sides where the adapter met the plastic piece. So now i have a round piece of Tupperware lid the size of the hole on the ultrasonic, that has a hose adapter through the middle of it that is fully sealed. I use the hot-glue gun (or sealant) and put a ring around the output on the ultrasonic, then lay that custom plastic piece on it so its sealed. Let dry, attach hose, and go! Sry there are no pics, otherwise it would make a lot more sense.

I modified my cool mist be duct taping the original output vent.
Drilled a hole [right under the original vent] to fit a 3/4" male end PVC adapter.
Siliconed and glued it in place.
Attached a washer hose from it to the input to my tub.
