Excellent pic!
You got poser and photoshop to I see.
Or did you just place an object with a heavy glass
material infront of the camera to get that wobbly effect?

Bryce is really cool but terragen looks a bit better.
Although you can`t really do anything else than make terrains in terragen.
Therefore Bryce comes out as the winner. Pluss Bryce5 has a lot of new features
that makes for a lot less of that computer generated look if used right.

Here`s the view from a boat in northern Norway
with fjords and mountains in the horizon.

Bryce 5 has awesome filtering effects. The skies look a lot more realistic now too. There's actually no glass in the image. There's two planes, a chair with a fuzzy texture, and the dude is just chrome. I added the wavy effect in Corel Photopaint. All in all it was pretty easy (only 1.5 hours design time)

I used Rhinoceros to model the chair. I highly reccomend it if you are into nurbs modeling.

The only thing that sucks about Bryce is that every image you create has that "Bryce" look and you have to do postproduction afterwards to make it look more original.

Great scene, BTW.

Well I only have Bryce 3 and I am jealous. That sunset is beautiful. Here is a sunset I did recently on Bryce 3,

I guess I should not have put the face in the picture of the alien.

but I love the water in that program and the skies.
