I'd agree. The "War on Immorality" or "War on Indecency" has a nice, unifying, rallying ring to it :smirk:

The next one will most likely be the war on indecency, or something close, used to restrict expression and tame the internet.

It's a scary thought but that doesn't sound too far fetched.

Momentum has been building up for this for the last few years, but has gotten worse this year. Maximum FCC fines for "indecent" broadcasts have increased over ten fold in the last year. The whole "political correct" speak is another example. The tacit approval of censorship on the internet by US/Western companies in China is yet another example. Limits on internet content "because our children must be protected" is yet another example. Limits and anger over the press in the name of national security... in order to protect those in power that are breaking the law, another example. The list goes on and on and gets worse every year. Very scary.

i know right you can't even sell your old playboys on ebay anymore.

It's just disgusting

Besides that i think with the patriot act they should just go balls out and declare war on the constitution.

"War On Oppression" has a nice ring to it... plus its abrv. is "WOO!"
