Good morning Shroomery and happy Sunday! I was awakened to a thunder storm this morning. Now I'm about to leave to look at cars because mine died the other day. Later I'm going to a street festival a few blocks away centered around food. So what is everyone else up to today?

I'm getting ready to go visit my 4 year old daughter for the day, out of town, on 2 hours or less of sleep, since I work night shift.
hope the toothpicks in my eyes hold for the drive home....

Right now I'm just drinking coffee and perusing the internet. Later I'm either going to stay in the air conditioning and watch movies or head outside into the heat and go swimming.

I'm trying to get my head on straight enough to write in my blog...I'm scatterbrained as all hell right now.

That's what happens when epiphanies don't magically appear before you.

What's up, people! Good morning. I am just chilling this morning. I am going to do some dishes and clean up the kitchen, but for the most part, I am just hanging with the family. Got a good Sunday joke for you, though.
Subject: Revelation 3:20
A new pastor was visiting in the homes of his parishioners. At one house it seemed obvious that someone was at home, but no answer came to his repeated knocks at the door. Therefore, he took out a card and wrote: "Revelation 3:20" on the back of it and stuck it in the door. When the offering was processed the following Sunday, he found that his card had been returned. Added to it was this cryptic message: "Genesis 3:10." Reaching for his Bible to check out the citation, he broke up in gales of laughter. Revelation 3:20 begins "Behold, I stand at the door and knock." Genesis 3:10 reads, "I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid for I was naked."

Okay, I have one more for you.
5 Surgeons
Five Surgeons are discussing the types of people they like to operate on. *The first surgeon says:"I like to see accountants on my operating table, because when you open them up, everything inside is numbered. "*The second responds:"Yeah, but you should try electricians! Everything inside them is color coded."
*The third surgeon says:"No, I really think librarians are the best; everything inside them is in alphabetical order." *The fourth surgeon chimes in:"You know, I like construction workers...those guys always understand when you have a few parts left over."
*But the fifth surgeon shut them all up when he observed:"You're all wrong. Politicians are the easiest to operate on. There's no guts, no heart, no balls, no brains and no spine, and the head and the ass are interchangeable."

Cool! I'll read it now. Look what I did a little while ago. It is drying and in about 5-7 days, it will go into the curing jars.

damn.. haven't had a good smoke in forever it seems... those look like deacent home growen buds, i'm sure you're gonna enjoy'em emansly (SP?)
i've got offered Jaras today but i'm gonna turn it down since i don't want to do any sort of buisness with these people it's not about trust or anything like that... it's just i used to be friends with these people but i've cut my self off from most of the people i know and if i ever want to consider them friends again i don't want that to be the only contact we have
it's tempting though i could certenly use some jaras right now!

That was a great report! It sounds like you had a very interesting evening! I told you it would be fine. I love to trip alone! I do like being around friends sometimes, but I like to "clear" my head and go on a solo mission sometimes, too.
