Grinding Caps for Chocolate Cups

I plan on grinding up maybe 1 oz. (dried) and adding 3.5g each to eight chocolate "squares."
(a) Any advice on how to do this, (b) are there any "gotchas" I should worry about, (c) does pulverizing shrooms with a coffee grinder harm potency and (d) how soon before I made these squares can I grind the shrooms?
I'd like to do it tomorrow morning when I'll have more time but I won't be making the cups until evening. Is there any harm in grinding them up about 10 hours prior to mixing with the chocolate? Now that I think of it, how long will ground-up shrooms stay "OK?" Can it be stored like this?

I dunno how you should go about doing it, but a coffee grinder should be just fine, wont harm potency at all I shouldn't think

for one, fitting 3.5grams into an ice cube sized chocolate is near impossible.
that much powder will bind up the chocolate.
for each ice-cubed size chocolate square, shoot for 2.5 grams.
go to a supermarket and get some milk chocolate chips. get another bag of milk chocolate/caramel chips. get a small bag of heath toffee chips. get a small bag of reeses premium baking pieces (mini cups)
you have to melt the chocolate in a double boiler. meaning some slightly boiling water in a big pot, with a smaller, or elevated, pot sitting in the water.
the inside pot will be holding and melting the chocolate.
grind your shrooms soon before you use them, but you can do it ahead of time. Do use a coffee grinder.
An ounce is good for one ice cube tray, that's 2 grams in each chocolate. that's about... 11 ounces of milk chocolate chips, 8 ounces of milk chocolate/caramel chips, 2 ounces of toffee chips, and 14 mini reeses, I think and could very well be wrong.
anyway, mise en place! (get all ingredients prepared, measured and ready to go (all in it's place))
_______________
get the water to a light boil add the chocolate chips and chocolate/caramel chips to the pot let them melt a bit while you stir them melt and stir until all lumps are gone. now comes the part where you move quick: add the mushroom powder and toffee chips at the same time remove the pot from the water/heat and stir, stir, stir. or fold, fold, fold. you will notice it beginning to bind up a bit and lose it's liquidity. that is fine and actually beneficial in the long run. mix, mix, mix until all is perfectly incorporated. allow to cool for like 15 minutes so the mix will tighten a bit. spoon into ice cube tray or preferred mold of choice make sure they are nice and level add a reeses cup to the middle of each one, push it into the center lightly and carefully cover the top of it. place tray in freezer for four to six hours. remove tray and remove chocolate squares. wrap individually in aluminum foil and place back into fridge/freezer until time to eat.
enjoy good sir!!!!!

i take an ice cube tray, spray with non-stick cooking spray so the chocolates pop out.
took some experimenting but i've found my tray fits exactly 1oz dry mushrooms (ground in coffee grinder) to 1lb chocolate (melted in double boiler). i melt chocolate, cut the heat and stir in powder. (used to measure out doses cube by cube, but it was a pain in the ass, and impossible to get them mixed well. just mixing it all at once works best)... end up with 14 chocolates, 2g a piece. there's definitely no potency loss.
at that size, they're decent sized chunks of chocolate, and there's an obvious lot of mushroom powder in them. like mitch says... good luck getting 3.5g in, probably aint gonna happen. my 2g chocolates fulfil most appetites. its a rare occasion when somebody besides myself is brave enough to eat 2!
no other gotchas really. ive ground mushrooms into powder, and stored it that way in a ziplock for a week before with no noticable potency loss. would imagine it could be stored that way indefinitely, with perhaps a silica gel packet or two to observe the dryness that you normally would with whole mushrooms...

this is a touch more accurate. basically the same but for sure almost on the measurements.
pictures will accompany it in the near future. this upload limit thing is a drag.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I won't be doing the chocolates this time around due to various issues but I'll bookmark this thread for the next time.
Anyone know how long shrooms can be kept in powdered form (in an airtight container) before potency is harmed?

I just used some powder that was five months old.
report was good.
found some trouble with old capsules though. although, that may have been a strain issue, for they were not from an isolate.
