NASA considering stopping ISS research
    #5912315 - 07/29/06 03:10 PM (17 years, 6 months ago)

What a crock. What the hell did they spend all that money on that huge fucking thing for? Do you know how many other infinitely more important and valuable space programs they could have conducted with all that dough? We could have been on MARS by now, instead of not doing anything with this big module floathing in outer space.

I really just hate NASA at times. Dont get me wrong, I'm the biggest proponent of space exploration ever. I just think NASA is full of idiots with a wierd agenda.\

Oh, heres the article...

I'm sure Dubya and his pals had something to do with this decision.

Well, what do you expect from the people who cancelled the Superconducting Super Collider?

I've been waiting for this announcement ever since they said the shuttle fleet was going to be retired. The ISS was designed to use a shuttle to ferry experiments up and down. Without a shuttle, they can't swap out the experiment racks thus they cannot do experiments.

NASA was doing just fine (mostly fine?) until Bush came along and retasked them to mars.

>NASA considering stopping ISS research

The article says they are considering stopping it for 1 year. It doesn't say they are ending it.
