Identification

This is my first hunt ever, I got a few different species but none of them looked remotely active. I don't think this one is active but I figured I'd post it, only problem is I don't have the stem or a pic of it in its natural habbitat.

Habitat: Grass, found it in just some of your average grass in the woods by a park.

Gills: Gills are really dark brown, before they were a lighter brownish/tanish color.

Stem: Really light brown/tanish, fairly skinny, pretty fragile, slightly enlarged at base, and hollow.

Cap: Pretty small, was light brownish, after the spore print it apears darker.

Spore print color: Very dark brown, almost black maybe.

Bruising: No color change was observed, but just some darkening in color after the spore print.

Location: Picked in upstate New York.

Smell: Smells nasty, maybe like rotting fish or something? I don't know.

I can think of a couple possibilities.. one would include an old Psathyrella specimen. Maybe even a really out of shape foenisecii.
Sounds like it is too far gone, old, or rotting to be totally sure.
One thing that I'm sure of is it's not an active or anything to be eaten.

Oh and welcome to the shroomery.
