New things i see
    #5910951 - 07/29/06 01:51 AM (17 years, 6 months ago)

I took my first LSD trip about a month ago, and ever since then, I've noticed some things about different visual things I didn't notice before the trip.

My first example is on the painting by Vincent Van Gogh, Starry Night. The long and most obvious swirl through the center of the painting, takes on a new image for me.
I see it now as an evil demon with his hand being a tentacle sort of thing curling.

Every time i see this painting, I see that inside it. It's not very vivid, but its there...

Also, there's this Tree that every time i look at, i can see the same face on it. It's an abstract face, but i see it.

I don't fear these things one bit, but I do see them and I would like to know if its dangerous to be thinking these things or is it just my imagination going wild?

Thank you  :sun:

I don't think there's anything dangerous about thinking those things.. it may be in your head, but your perception defines your world and LSD can change the way you perceive things.

Keep looking. Anything you want to fit the model of the face can and will. You can see a face in anything depending on how out of whack you allow the features of that thing be. It is you using your imagination. Congratulations on finally learning how to use it.

Now you can learn to appreciate abstract art!
