So I was talking to my dog in a dream I had last night. He was telling me that you could take the chemical that is in rooting powder(indole) ; I think it is 5HT and cook it in a pipe bomb with ammonia maybe.(not sure) This would turn it into 4HT or bufotanine. He said that you could then take this and add it to your substrate and it could potentially increase potency 10x-100x. WOW that would be a trip to remeber especially since you could probably only eat one, anymore and you would die. So I guess what I am asking is....
IS MY DOG RIGHT? COULD HE BE SMARTER THAN I?

AFAIK, rooting powder does not contain serotonin (5-HT), or indole. As well, bufotenin is not 4-HT, it is 5-OH-DMT. I have no idea what ammonia has to do with any of this (???)
What you really want to do is add either tryptamine, or n,n,DMT to your substrate. There have been experiments done on this, and while it did increase the psilocin content a whole bunch, i believe the psilocybin content was decreased, and most of the mushrooms aborted.

I am sorry I did make a mistake. Like I said it was what my dag told me. You are right. You can buy tryptophan from GNC and you cook that. Thankyou for clearing my dogs thoughts up.
