Ill get more pictures up soon ill get a scan of a spore print and theres more in that feild i didnt want to waist them so i only took one back.
One thing though cows havent been there in a year, but it still grew? you can see dried piles of crap that were recently reactivated by the 3 days of rain. Is this strange? Or should a field stay active even after the cows are gone for a while?

to answer your question, Yes, rain will activate old patties into fruting only because the mycelium is still hanging around in that area and a thing i've noticed about mycelium is when it does make a home it does'nt wanna leave...wich is a good thing

Nice pictures!
Too bad the cows have been removed.. that sucks! If the cows aren't brought back then unfortunately the field will eventually stop producing.

Hey Implee, as everyone has stated, they both look like Psilocybe cubensis, however I was wondering if you noticed any bluing after a while, on the dryer mushroom in the first photo?
Lucky first shot Congrats!

I agree. And, I might just be saying this because of the self-induced fog I just put myself into, but this is the best first post ever. We've got - active mushrooms; perfect descriptions; and pretty classic photos.
