Hi,
I´m germinating some spores on agar and get everytime the same kind of growth that don´t really know if it´s contamination or just that the myc. of this shroom is this way. Everytime I get contams on agar it looks like something (the mold) fighting against another thing (the myc.) but this looks more like one only thing. Anyway here are some pics:

Are they from wild spore prints/gill fragments?

Cool, I used to try and culture a lot of my hunting finds.. never got around to growing most of them.
I don't know much about the cultivation of Lepiota, but I know some of the general agar techniques for isolation.
What are you planning to do with it?

Well, I plan to inoc.some wheat grain and use it as spawn for a substrate that I´m still thinking about. But that´s just my plan, the first thing I need to know if is that culture looks OK cause I never had a growth like that.

I'm not familiar with this mushroom either, but it wouldn't hurt to transfer some of the healthy looking sectors in that plate to new plates. Good luck none the less!

I started some L. procera from spores on agar last fall to see what it looks like. The mycelium was similar to yours, white becoming light brown, I think mine was thicker though, and I don't remember the zoned growth that you have on your plate. I thought at the time it looks very much like A. bisporus mycelium. I used PDYA.
What kind of agar are you using?

The culture is a little bit old and is drying out that´s why it isn´t thick, but I have some more in the lab that looks the same way but thicker. Agar is MYPA.

maybe the different growth is do to enviroment? Maybe thin agar. All i know is each species of mushroom has its own way of growing. Some have a few ways............ But the arial and whispy radial growth does look to be of mushroom nature, not contam.
I say nock up some grain and stir up some mushroom love.....
