yeah, I grew up on a steady diet of punk, so yeah, it was cool to meet a guy who created one of my favorite albums of all time...GI.

He doesn't really look like that currently?
I thought he transformed his image when he came out of the closet
Thought he wanted to look pretty

I mean, he is quite flamboyant and obviously gay.

I don't know, and it doesn't matter to me if he was but
he changed from the interviews I saw with him while in Nirvana
to those while in Foo Fighters
He got very ...look in order to spare you the linguistic discussion of the female pronunciation of the letter "s"
...he started sounding gay.
And the last interview I saw with him, a few years ago, he was shopping for shoes and jewelry on "House of Style" and camping it up
Total 180 from before.

if you go back to his time with the germs and with SST records (from 1976 throughout the 1980s), he was quite gay. He was always gay and very effeminate. Check out some footage from that era. I never heard him speak during the 6 months he played with nirvana - what interviews are you referring to? I mean, pat and darby used to worship bowie and freddy mercury back in the 70s. Sure, he's not as punk-fashion oriented as he used to be 30 years ago, but who is and who cares?
