Can someone please tell me the best tek for curing buds, so that I don't lose potency, but keep the taste good, as well?
Thanks.

Well I dont have a link to any tek. What I like to do is trim when the plants are still wet and then hang branches to dry. I always hated when the plants had hung for a couple days with the fans leaves still intact, such a pain to trim. Depending on the density, it is usually takes 7-10 days to be able to snap the stems. From here I have more than likely indulged myself and sampled the goods. But I hold back and place the buds into mason jars, not to tight though. I put them in a dark place and exchange air a couple times a day, giving them a good shake in the process. Nothings worse than getting moldy buds.
You'll noticed that once in the jar, they will gain some moisture back, this is ok, the longer the curing process, the easier the smoke. Depending on your personal stash situation, I would let them go in the jars for at least a month, longer if you can though. Now I know there are some very different methods to cure, water cure etc.., Im a simple guy and like a simple method, I hope this helped out a bit blissed

dry them for 5-7 days then trim up and throw them is quart jars in the fridge opening once a day to release moisture for up to two weeks, try in between cause it can cure in the fridge for up to 6 months

Yeah, I find glass jars to be the best way to cure, just check on them often to prevent moisture problems. After a couple weeks they should start to stabilize and then you can put them storage, although you should probably still check on them once or twice a month. Stash is critical, don't let it mold. Good luck, man!

The way Ryan explained it is spot on!
Don't get lazy about airing the jars or you will get mould.
