Couple of questions....

So i went hunting yesterday because rainfall has been great here in texas and i picked up on alot of really decent sized liberty caps but i saw saw other mushrooms that i had never seen before. Im sorry i dont have pictures but i want to try to describe them just incase anyone might know if they are active or not.
1. They were like an orangish red color and were growin off of a dead tree. They also had like a hole in the middle of them. 2. Completly yellow mushrooms and i only saw 2 of them but i left em alone just incase i find out they are active so i can go back and get em even bigger .
Thanks in advance for any help. logic

Liberty caps do not grow in texas.. if that's what you are trying to say.
Anyways I agree with Jim as far as the IDs go.

Copes and Cubes grow in TX... so do bluing Boletes, so it's hard to tell what you have. Sometimes people say things are bluing when they really aren't at all.. wishful/anxious thinking can lead to people thinking they see blue.

Dude we live in texas, there are cubes by the truckload, sounds like you've found a few cool looking nonactives but thats about it.

Third opinion: P. semilanceata (Libery Cap) doesn't grow in Texas.
