last minute doubts

hi all, well tom. is the big day, my first attempt and I have just a few last min. questions if theres anybody still awake out there...
first off im steaming my jars empty to sterilize them before i fill /steam 'em, any suggestions for how long i keep 'em in there for ( just bought a pressure cooker today)
now for my next query ive read and read everybodys theorys and well.....opinions?....use the metal lids or cover the top with aluminum foil or shit both?
If i havn't pissed you off yet how long should I let my jars cool for?do i remove them from the pc?
sorry for the rambling all your help and support is appreciated

I just wash my jars in the dishwasher...before i start.
Cause I pressure cook them anyway.

I use the lids.....flip the center peice so the gummy side is pointed up.....though.
You can cover them with Tin foil.....but i don't.

I let pull my jars out of my pc after an hour of cooling time.....and i tighten the lid.
Then i let them cool down over night...on my clean kitchen counter.

Then i inoc the jars in the morning.
