you guys make this harder than it needs to be.
get one of those portable space heaters...
get a bunch of milk crates and wire more "shelves" into the crates...i used chicken wire. milk crates are free from the backs of stores.. if you ask of coarse.
once you have your milk crates full of whatever you grow, turn the space heater on and put a box fan (big ol' white one from target for like 10 bucks) in between the heater and the crate and viola!
got yourself a near industrial size dehydrator for pretty cheap.

Ewwwwww I would not eat those! they should still be white.. all it takes is a fan on them, maybe a desiccant or food dehydrator to finish it if needed.

I bake Epsom Salt for an Hour @ 400 degrees(f) then put it in a tupperware tub, place a paper towel over it, then put the mushrooms in it, seal on the lid, ...they're cracker dry in 2-3 days.
Cheap+Effective!
oh, but wait, before I do that, I have to Fan dry em for 24 hours!!

Heating them is not a good idea. It's not necessary.
Airflow is the most important thing. In most climates a fan will have them cracker dry in 24 hours. If you have high humidity then fan dry them first then throw them in with some desiccant.
