Anybody have any suggestions for interesting and adventurous places to travel to and check out? I've been thinking about maybe going over to Iraq for a month or so.

If I went to Iraq (or any other unstable area) I would hire several bodyguards to accompany me everywhere.

You'd need a guide to find some of them, although you can find aztec ruins in mexico city itself. They've actually dug them up accidentally while digging for construction.
that gives me an idea, though... it probably wouldn't cost that much to drive down to mexico with a friend, live in his car, and see the ancient civilizations. You can ride a bus to some ruins I beleive.

also I'd consider morrocco. I hear it's amazing. tangiers and all. hash is supposed to be some of the best in the word as well. you can probably find some good opium etc there too, but I don't know about that as much. it's near the top of my list of foreign countries to visit.
