I'm thinking of making an automated grow rack / martha thingy. I was wondering if this is a good humidifier to use?

$$$$$$$$$$$ You can get a decent ultrasonic at a pharmacy store(walgreens, CVS etc.) for about 20 bucks. If your local area has decent RH you may be able to use just a cool mist. I run just a cool mist 24/7 and i have 95% rh during pinning then i unzip it a little to drop it a little.

For a Martha, you want an IMPELLER type coolmist.

You are looking at an ultrasonic.

Thank you for the input. So, which is the most popular Impeller people here would use? Is there one that is more reliable or works better?
Would this be a good one? http://www.iallergy.com/product297/product_info.html
Or how about this one? http://www.manordrug.com/respcatalog/sunbeam_impeller_humidifier_3821282.htm

check thrift stores.
or,

can be placed inside greenhouse as is and run on a timer.
or...
modified to run outside through tubing.
Tippi's setup works well too, I would assume.

So, what would the advantage be for placing it inside Vs. outside? Wouldn't outside be better for FAE?

Most place it outside, to increase FAE.
You want to make the outlet, as big as the existing one. If it's smaller, back pressure will toast the motor in a short span of time.

yeah, see how I have TWO large pvc pipes coming out?
with it inside, if you leave the greenhouse open a bit, the FAE will be just fine.
