Hi. Sorry I got another question lol .Not sure if it should be in the advanced mycology forum I want to know what to do with the money I have.I want to construct a glovebox with a hepa filter ( like bionaire,99.97%) fixed on it or a flowhood.I only have 450$cnd .Do you think that a glove box like that will be good? I know the flowhood is better but I don't think I will have enough cash.
Thanks

There is a lot about both of those here on the forums already.
Go ahead and explore the search function.

Gloveboxes don't have hepa filters, they are sealed up so as to have still air. You can build a nice laminar flowhood for your $450. RR

Not sure what unit cnd is or how it converts to USD and I'm way to lazy to google anything.
But a glove box can be assembled incredibly cheaper, hell:
cardboard box
oust and surface cleaner
clear plastic wrap
gloves

A flowhood (laminar or non-laminar) is SO much better than a glovebox. It will be worth it in every respect to build a flowhood rather than a glovebox. A good advantage is that you can leave it on and it will filter the air in the entire room leading to much improved air quality all around.

Beat me to it. A great tek for building a laminar flowhood was posted by Anno a while back, I think agar also had some useful posts on the subject. I simply don't have room in my studio apartment, otherwise I'd have a nice flowhood and I could dive head first into agar work .

positive pressure glove boxes have hepa filters. i'm a glovebox guy myself. i just don't have much faith in the filters used for flowhoods as they pretty much just blowing semi sterile air. tyhe air in my lab is damn close to cleaned as it is, but that is just me.
