More water to the cake means more fruit.

The resevoir tek is really great. I want to use it. Unfortunetly I have already colonized the cakes and therefore have no inner verm core. Perhaps I could use a drill bit (possible any sharp point) and bore out a channel into the cake (post birth).

At this point I would add a straw and add H20 as needed?

I've always tried doing that once a cake started to slow down fruiting. I've never gotten and extra flush from it. the big problrm I've found it the water always seems to just leak out from the cake in a matter of hours

drill a hole roughly half way down the cake, put a straw in it and keep the straw filled with water.
