80-84 is optimal for incubation. 20 days is also a while to not see any growth. How much spore solution did you use? Did you shake up the spore syringe really well before use? I would keep it around just to see if it's a really slow starter...but in the meantime I would start a new project.

u guys r gonna think im a moron but im pretty damn sure i didnt shake my syringe up before i inoculated about 3 ccs into my 3 pound rye mushbox.com grow bag, But you would think some spores got in rite? Also wouldnt i see some sign if its conatmed? i dont see any contamanation, also i raised the degrees quite a few yesterday with a heating pad and i noticed it looks like its startin to get humid inside the bag now so hopefully something will work? i have another syringe just chillin in the fridge think i should inoculate again?, i was kinda savin that syringe for another project but i mean it is 12cc so i got plenty. lol what was left of my last syringe i inncoulated in shady spot in some old rotten woohchips i got just to see if anything happens prolly not but hey ya never know. Anyways help guys what should i do?

i think raising the temp is wishful thinking, its probably not going to correct anything... unless perhaps your substrate is too wet, and like you say now some of the moisture is condensing up on the bag maybe that will dry out underneath enough to get it started.
shaking it up certainly would have helped distribute spores around, but you're right, there still should have been some in 3cc worth even if you didn't. you may have simply gotten a bum syringe that wasn't viable, not likely but possible, who knows though its anybody's guess as to why it didn't grow.
don't try reinjecting it. start your next project. keep this one around a little longer, if it works great, if not, oh well. if it didn't grow, there's something wrong... simple logic here. adding more spores, probably will be a waste of spores... and worst case scenario it didn't grow because its infected with bacteria, sticking a fresh new syringe into a bacterial infested mess could contaminate your new syringe. i know it sucks to throw out failed projects, but in the long run trying to salvage them often results in more wasted materials, time, and effort.
