What would you make? (metalworking)

If you had an entire metal-working shop(lathes, bridgeports, etc) at your disposal, what would you make?
Some obvious things come to mind.... pipes, one-hitters, space-case type grinders.......
But what else.
Also been thinking about maybe some custom motorcycle or car accessories/parts.
Any other ideas???

ninja stars and swords would be a little out of my area of expertise.
no access to a punch press
but minor welding jobs (stash spot container areas) can be done
easiest things that I am able to make, would be anything that could be turned on a lathe or milled.
but if you are serious about needing something for the car made and can provide comprehensive blueprints, then i would gladly shoot over a quote

gun related stuff has crossed my mind many a times.
I'm thinking more or less of wanting to turn a profit. And messing with the ATF is not anywhere on that agenda.
novel link though. i could turn them out like nobodies business.

some kind of L shaped piece that would support my 80 pound dog while he tugs on a springpole. it needs to be able to be mounted on a tree, and hold up to 160 lbs without breaking a sweat. if he started pulling hard and it broke, he'd probably fuck himself up when he landed.

that one is for an air rifle, like they arent quiet enough already honestly, I'd seriously get a class 2 permit and manufacture them, at $800-$5k per unit, it's a hell of a profit margin

all you have to have is a permit to manufacture NFA weapons, it also allows you to make trigger groups for NFA conversions

Im going to look into this further.
Is there a good market for this stuff? What about liability issues?
Thanks for the lead

I would fabricate interesting sculptures with a touch of functionality. Rod iron fences. Metal grinders. Neat cabinet drawer pulls. Stuff that i could just create. I mean if i had the knowledge of precision machining i would dive into custom parts.

I'd make a few smuggling lockers.
Something like a small footlocker, with strong magnets mounted to the base, allowing for it to be hidden away somewhere within/under a vehicle.
useless for anything a dog can sniff out, but otherwise quite handy.

Interesting idea konnrade.
That would be pretty simple to make.
Wonder if neodymium can be machined easily....or if its too brittle.
That way I could mount the magnets with fasteners and know they would not become dislodged from the box.
-----
Thanks for the ideas everyone! Keep em coming I don't have many people in the real world i can sit and brainstorm with. So this is very appreciated.

I think neodymium is brittle, but maybe you could use magnetized steel.
Or, you could just use a metal strap to hold the neodymium to the casing, without having to drill the magnet itself.

Knife and sword making is not really that difficult. I've made several functional knives using basic hand tools (hacksaw, files). The trick is heat treating them so they hold an edge. I built a small charcoal forge in my dad's backyard that does the trick. Look into Wayne Goddard's books on knifemaking. If I had access to a full metal shop I'd make knives as a profession, and if you do quality custom work you can make a nice living. Just my 2 cents.

A plethora of metallic roses. I've seen it done. A guy on Homemadeturbo.com made a beautiful rose with scrap metal and a TIG. He said he was going to spray his wife's favorite perfume(that he also bought her) on it and give it to her for a Vday gift.
I'd make about 12 or so of those and that should cover Vdays for me till I either get married or stop dating around. Ya know?
Other than that there is much more car related stuff I would make wrather than drug related. I'm a car-freak at heart.

Yea, if i understood more about cars, i would definately get into making custom components and such. Also motorcycle stuff.
Got tons of scrap metal to make them roses though

A Weapon of Mass Destruction!
Gonna need it by the ways things are going in this world.
I started building a bomb shelter today. Stocking up on ammo, beer, and peanuts... lots and lots of peanuts.
Anyone comes knocking I will shoot first
