question about liquid culture jar lid setup

i'm setting up my lids as such. 2 lids with two one quarter inch holes drilled in each, the top lid has silicone applied to one of the holes for a self healing injection site. between the two lids iam putting a piece of tyvek (the tyvek is tyvek housewrap - this is the right stuff right?).
question: if i make quart jars of lc, how do you get the liquid into the syrings once the level of the liquid gets low in the jar? it seems like you can get some and then the last of the liquid is inaccessable.

that's why you put the tyvek and the injection port on opposite sides

IMO, the RTV+polyfill lids are the shiz.

Never had one contam, no vacuum when aspirating.

means it 'cures' or is hardened at room temperature... whereas other silicones may need heat or pressure to 'cure'.

You can find it in any hardware store. It "sets" in about an hour and your PC won't put a dent in it.

just ask for rtv sealant. I like to get mine at the auto parts stores. it's usually a little cheaper..

yeah, it's either at auto stores or in the automotive section of a big retail store.
It's called RTV Silicone Sealant. And it's for making temporary custom gaskets in car engines.
