Visual Strain?
    #5894393 - 07/24/06 01:46 PM (17 years, 6 months ago)

Not really sure whether I should post this in the Experiences or the Cultivation forum.. But what is the most visual strain of cubes? Any input is very much appreciated. Thanks, guys.

Maybe I am wrong but I don't think there is a difference really between the strains of Cubensis. If there is a difference it is probably negligible.

Psilocybin is psilocybin.

Dosage, setting and state of mind will define visuals

A cube is a cube? I don't think so. One consistency I have personal experience with, among 25+ different users, is the distinctness between EQ (Ecuadorian) and SA (South American). Everyone, without exception, has stated that the EQ shrooms are much more visual and only present a medium body load. Those same users have also stated that the SA shrooms have a much higher body load with limited visuals.

The visuals experienced by the SA shrooms are reportedly very crisp details on objects, slight distortion when they stare at objects, and of course trails. The EQ shrooms were reported to have visuals so acute, that objects tend to move and distort just by simply looking at them for a second. Rooms tend to look like a water color painting when on the EQ, but more crisp and clear when on the SA.

Now this is certainly not to be substituted for any scientific experiments, but these are real world results among a very diverse group of people, myself included. All these shrooms were grown by me using the exact same substrate and growth parameters.

Coincidence, I don't think so. You be the judge.

My vote is for Cambodians or Ecuadorians.

Ralphster lists the EQ strain as being rather weak on the potency scale.. Shroomery Wiki lists it as one of the most potent ones.. What's going on here?

Set and setting brother. . I've tripped on the same mushrooms at the same dosage several times and noticed that the visuals vary GREATLY depending on a few things. .

Day/Night - Nighttime is much more visual, by far.
Distractions - I've noticed that when I'm solo, I tend to visualize a lot more as my mind is less scattered by social interactions.
Ganja - Smoking pot definitely makes me visualize much more.
