He played a ton of unkle stuff, lots of his own stuff, lots of trip hop, then had Lateef the Truth Speaker come out halfway through to pump up the audience. The music was stunning, I felt like the show was so simple yet the visuals on one screen along with a few lights made me feel like I was riding a 3d simulation ride because of all of the attention to detail put into the VJing blended perfectly with top notch music.
On top of that, had a few weird things happen in the middle of the show - including a girl that I really liked pop in and find me in the crowd in the middle of the show and magically disappear. Just made for a really special night.

Hallucinogen (In Dub) - Live Band At Camp Bisco 2007 in Mariaville, NY.
5 hits lsd, 4 grams mushrooms, and a bunch of headies.
About an hour into the set, the sun started going down. Once the sun went down, huge storm clouds moved in and it was one of the nastiest rain storms I've ever been in. The wind was blowing so hard, and it was seriously pouring rain. Everyone was completely soaked but everyone was pretty much glued in place til the set ended. Got back to the tent, and the wind blew so hard it actually managed to pull some stakes out of the ground and our tent was leveled. But I didn't care at all. My one buddy's tent completely blew away.

well, the best thing i have experienced was seeing tomahawk and tool together, as mike patton is a god to me and tool is my favorite band.
as far as with drugs... at ozzfest 99 i was on some coke, some meth, about 5 purple gel tabs, and when i got to the show i remember walking to the second stage and seeing a band i had never heard of before, it was slipknot. say what you will about them, but i am a drummer and love heavy music, and with the trippin and the speedin and such, i was confused as to what the hell was happening. all i knew was that these orange jumpsuit demons were playing the heaviest shit i had ever heard. i love death metal, but the way they construct their rhythms did something to my brain that day. joey jordasen is a badass.

My number two best concert was Roger Waters.
MDMA.
Seeing that pig fly across the audience and into the sky for good was a tearful moment.

I don't know if I answered this already, but I'm not scrolling through these threads to find out. I went to my first Tool concert high off 2c-I and that was pretty damn intense. Especially when they did their awesome lighting effects, I was peaking then and the whole auditorium was just tripping me out and I swear everyone was floating around along with the music of Wing for Marie.
Intense

-Joe Satriani '08 -2 tabs of LSD, Words cannot express how great it was, i had been hanging out to see him too.
-Rage Against The Machine '08 -2 MD bickies and lots of alcohol, Kick ass concert, great to see em back together.
-Iron Maiden, somewhere back in time tour '08 -2 tabs of LSD and plenty of beer, A great light spectacular experience.
-Cannibal Corpse '06 -Approx 3 grams of shrooms, It was something else, though the environment made it so good.
-Cypress Hill '03 + '04, LOTS of good weed, and also plenty of beer, Both GREAT concerts, always a pleasure to see Cypress (Sen Dog beat up a security gaurd at the '03 gig, was sooo dam funny )

Battles (and also Vampire Weekend) at Bonnaroo this year, on LSD. It was my first time at Bonnaroo (or any other festival), first time hearing Battles, and first time dropping acid. I'd been wanting to try acid for a while, and I had the luck to bump into a guy with some really excellent liquid.
I ended up taking three hits just in time for the show. Knowing nothing about Battles, I could never have guessed what I was in for. It was by far the most intense experience I've ever had, at once unbearably terrifying and sublime beyond words. Battles' music is so loopy and mathematical, like some kind of auditory fractal, it's almost as if it's designed specifically to utterly mindfuck anyone who happens to be on acid. The show felt like it lasted about five times as long as it actually did, and afterward I quickly lost track of my friend in the crowd and collapsed on the grass.
I don't remember anything for a little while after that, but the first thing I do remember is that the next show, Vampire Weekend, had started. Their music is almost the polar opposite of Battles. It's kind of instrumental and upbeat, with an African vibe. It seemed like the most wonderful sound I'd ever heard in my life.
Unfortunately, I no longer had any real memory of the rest of my life, or what precisely was going on. I remembered that I'd traveled quite a way to this large event called Bonnaroo, but I was suddenly feeling quite confused about the nature of this event. I spent most of the rest of the night cycling through all kinds of mad theories about what was going on. I was convinced for a while that Bonnaroo was some kind of cult, and that I had eaten not acid but some esoteric drug intended to brainwash me so that I could be easily assimilated. I couldn't decide whether this was a good or bad thing. Then I started thinking that perhaps I had died and gone to the afterlife--but was I in Heaven or Hell? It was oddly difficult to tell. I don't normally believe in any sort of afterlife, but at the time it seemed entirely plausible since I (thought) I was experiencing it firsthand. I eventually settled on the idea that Bonnaroo was a massive party for psychedelic drug users and other counterculture elements, disguised as a simple music show, which funnily enough isn't far from the truth.
I had a vague feeling I should go to my tent and work all this out in peace, but finding my way back proved to be an almost insurmountable obstacle. I wandered around the entire, massive campsite for about three hours trying to get my bearings, and every time I thought I must be close to my section, number 9, I wound up in a section marked "g", which I figured must be a VIP area. The acid visuals made finding my way quite difficult, because the numbers and symbols I saw on the marker balloons were almost entirely untrustworthy. Finally, a nice girl at the volunteer booth gave me directions to campsite 9. I'm saved!, I thought, but I arrived at my destination only to be confronted once more with that infuriating "g." Nearly ready to give up and sleep on the ground somewhere, I suddenly realized that the cursed "g" was actually a 9 after all, painted with an unusually curly tail for some ridiculous reason.
By this time I was mostly back in the real world, and I went into my tent and did my best to get some sleep.
That was quite a night.

I think people gather to Bonnaroo and other festivals for the music. The doses, molly, rolls among other things are just the party favors.
That sounds like a pretty intense time, tripping out hardcore around 100,000 people.
I tripped at rothbury, and I couldn't think of a better place to have a good trip.

Oh, I definitely agree that music is the main attraction, but it seems like drugs do play an important role. It's great being in an environment where people can be relatively open about it, and I'm not sure if it's even possible to find such good acid where I live. I'd guess you can if you know the right people, but at Bonnaroo it comes wandering past your tent advertising itself. That's reason enough to go in my book.
