Hope you like them. They're my first charcoal drawings.

Hussein and Eastwood? What inspired that?

Thanks for the comments... i made them the day after, while coming down from the trip (I tripped in the night).
They are Bud Spencer and Terence Hill, inspired in a photograph making some changes with Photoshop.
I have never draw anything, I recommend you this book: http://www.drawright.com/
Regards.

For the interested, I have filled the space in black with charcoal, and then removing it to make blank zones and form the face.
This way, we work with the right side of the brain as explains this book.
Happy trails!

a little late in the reply but I was gonna say:
maybe try using a black board as a surface, drawing with a white conte pencil. This can make a beautifully highlighted piece. Good work though, just trying to save you some time, I love working with charcoal, it's so fast

excellent job for your first drawings! i would definently recommend trying some gestural/abstract drawings.
just close your eyes during your next trip, and let your hand flow free. it's an amazing experience to see the connection between your brain and your hand.
