Kind of reminds me of the Celestine Prophecy in a way.  I just started it this afternoon and I'm already about a quarter of the way through the book.

So far so good.  :thumbup:

I dunno about that, things are going pretty smoothly so far. It's been quite a while since a work of fiction has caught (kept) my attention. I forgot how much I loved reading.

I read almost all Dan Browns books in about a week. They're all fast reads. Some of the dialog seems like it was written by a high school student, but all-in-all it was pretty good.

I like how it's spawned a bunch of gay shows. There is that "reality" show, National Treasure was kinda the same thing, and now there's some FOX show called Vanished that looks weak as fuck.

Originality is dead.

OH WAIT. Too bad Dan Brown got his idea from Holy Blood, Holy Grail.

:blah::blah::blah:

The story is excellent, but the actual writing is piss-poor.

I finished it! Only took a few days, I LOVED IT. I actually sighed when I closed the back cover.

I was kind of put off by all the 'Da Vinci' hype for the longest time, I'm glad I took a chance. Great read.

Check out Deception Point. It's different (still deals in code cracking,) and I think the writing was better than in TDVC.
