Hello everyone, I was wondering if it was possible to just inject some spore solution into a pile of cow poo, peatmoss, hay, vermaculite and brf that was outside. Would it be possible to do so? If so, how likly would it be I'd get mushrooms to appear. And outside there is no contamination right? It would be cool if you got back soon.

I just wanted to know if it was possible. Someone was saying you could and I wanted to know the truth. I said that it wouldnt grow and he said it would so I thought I'd get proof to tell him he's an idiot.

It's possible, but not very likely to work... You'd have to cover them with a black tarp, water them, etc etc... this question gets asked at least once a week it seems.

'And outside there is no contamination right?' WRONG
you could get this to work if everything was sterilized before inoculation or got real lucky.

Well assuming I sterilized everything and then put it outside, then put in spores, should it in theory work?

an analogy for you
its about as likely as jerking off on a toilet seat in the men's room, having a woman come in there and sit down, and get pregnant
its not impossible but "chance in hell" is a good way to describe it
