Something is wrong with my cactus

I'm growing san pedro and bridgessi cacti and they seem to be doing amazing this summer. However, I just noticed on a few plants that they seem to have these little brown spots on them.
The brown spots are almost like a callous of some sort. If I cut the brown callous spot off it's just juicy cactus flesh inside.
These plants are ALWAYS kept in doors on my windowsill so I highly doubt it is an insect problem. Also, I 've inspected them very closely and see no insects at all.
I'm thinking it could be some kind of disease or possibly some sort of sun burning? I water them only when the soil is dry, so I'm pretty sure I am not over/under watering them. Again, they look extremely healthy except for the oncoming of these brown spots.
It's hard to get a good close up picture of these spots as they are pretty small right now. Some are the size of the tip of a ball point pen, others the size of a pencil eraser. I will try to upload pics if this cannot be solved though.
Thank you for your knowledge and time!

It is an overwatering problem I think.I have the same problem with my pedros.
It only happens when they get left out in the rain.

I was going to ask do you have good drainage?
Do they look like this?
I,m watering maybe to much, because of the weather.

I call it cork skin. nothing to worry about as long as you have good drainage.

not too pretty, but this is usually limited to the lower parts of the cactus. that and its harmless.
