Understanding the Weilii Code.

Some more out of my patch.
Ive noticed Weilii seems to bust out very big with Non-human made conditions. The rain, moisture and humidity causes them to grow insanely fast, It takes Weilii about 2 or 3 days to grow full size without rain and me just watering it with a hose. But after a hefty rain it seems they just grow massively.
Also seems like with every flush their is about 1 or 2 aborts that pop out and just get blue and not grow.
Happy shrooming my friends

Absolutely beautiful... It is very rare to see weilii just pop up and grow several inches above the ground, as they usually hide in grass/pine straw. You have a very rare patch indeed.

I read in one of the cult tek's that before and during a rain the temp. drops several degrees signaling the mycelium to create a good flush along with the moisture. When you water them they aren't getting the same signal due to the lack of a prolonged (12-24 hrs) temp. drop.
Just a guess... hope it helps.
Nice patch.

Really? I actually remember a post earlier about weilii being wood-lovers now that I think about it. hmmmm.... my memory just isn't as good as it used to be.

Or the lack thereof- Not a chanterelle in the top sector of this park I visited. I didn't even hike to the lower streams and lake. I knew there might be one. Or ten? But if the top of the park wasn't in fruit it surprises me. Not even old man of the woods, or anything except log lichen that can survive droughts.
Did you have luck today, did anyone around Atlanta find ANYTHING?

Hey long time reader, first time poster. But i am gonna start hunting, and i live 30 min from ATL, i wont tell exactly but i am near Douglasville. I was wondering if Wellii grows west of Atl? I have read that its mainly north but has anyone ever found them west? I have still never tried mushrooms(pretty much last thing i wana try) but i want the satisfaction of finding them rather than buying them, since i have just discovred georgia has alot of mushrooms.

I remember 2 years ago claiming Weilii were a code too, to be broken and once enough experience in the field was accumulated, a samadhi like mycology awakening occurs and there on finding them becomes much easier. Mainly due to knowing they only flush a few times a year.... So the first code to crack is the weather.
-------------------- I went to st thomas and camped out ontop of the island... Despite my entire family being poor all my life, the land is priceless. I was chased by haitians in the main city charlotte amalie when my girlfriend and I got some cocaine for free in a bar and mixed it with alcohol, to form a stronger drug. With such confidence at 2am, we walked the 4-5 or so miles down to the beach where the african slaves lie like lions waiting on tourist prey. The war isen't on drugs... the war is on the causes that influence people to abuse drugs. drug-abuse is a by-product of the system and much like radioactive waste occurs from utilizing nuclear power, drug addicts with drug-problems will need to be properly disposed of, like the decaying radioactive waste produced from nuclear energy. -i2ancid
