so all of a sudden NK has a flood
    #5889624 - 07/23/06 02:31 AM (17 years, 9 months ago)

Hundreds dead, missing in N Korea floods
12:42 AM July 22

Authorities in North Korea say hundreds of people are dead or missing following heavy rains this month.

The country's state newsagency says tens of thousands of buildings, bridges and roadways have been destroyed by floods and landslides.

Experts are warning that food production has been badly affected and there is a risk of famine.

This comes after South Korea suspended shipments of food aid to Pyongyang earlier this month to protests against North Korea's recent ballistic missile tests.

this is a joke,we're really that stupid now?

Well if this is true then it be a good way to force to Lil'Kim to do something we want him to do, whatever that is.

As for the food shortages, it would be awesome if we could drop food from the air with propaghanda on them. That way the population gets food without having to depend on Lil'Kim and at the same time we could start a revolution.

i was watching or reading something about NK last week 'and they were saying NK is stuck in the 50's
women still wear beehives and those kinda dresses from back then

this sounds like a blatant old fashion lie like the way our politicians used to lie back then but 'ours' have mastered the art of lying since then
by 'ours' i mean every country in the worlds pollies have mastered lying except north koreas:lol:

What did the people of North Korea ever do to deserve being "starved"?

I don't follow. Why do North Koreans deserve to starve and die simply because they live under a dictator? They live under an ruthless dictator. I can't really fathom a shittier deal than that, let alone more fortunate people rooting for a famine for them

the problem with people like you is you expect the world to clean up your own shit

try dying for what you believe in for once like our forefathers did instead of jumping on the first refugee boat you see before the women and children

North Koreans couldn't control which society they were born into, so how can they be deserving of starvation? On top of that, what does any of it have to do with the phrase "biting the hand that feeds you"?

it means you send me some food and after i eat it,i'll ask for more and if you say no,i'll point a loaded gun at your head and threaten to blow you apart unless you feed me again...what part of that didn't you understand or are we talking about some other north korea that is friendly and shows gratitude for past charity handouts from the west?

will their god feed them?

I think you greatly confuse North Koreans with their government.

North Korea is on the verge of collapse, we can either wait till the famine incites a coup, or we can speed the process up.

I don't understand why North Korea doesn't have a strong dissident movement. I watched a CNN doc on it and their dissidency has only got so far as posting an anti-Kim Jong poster underneath a bridge, filming it, and then uploading it to the internet. One would think by now there would be a guerrila group or two in some of the more remote regions of the country.

For the same reason that drugs are illegal in the US.

Propaganda is a powerful tool.

You keep referring to the people of North Korea's god... and who that might be?

Or are you simply referring to the dictator?

Just wondering if you know what the hell you are talking about. :smirk:

ok for the dumbies

north koreans have let themselves be brainwashed by their dictator into believing he is a living god

i find it odd, dumb or ignorant that you havent heard that before so
take your picks with that one

then read these below

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/3652705.stm

http://www.conservativetruth.org/article.php?id=3458&PHPSESSID=7c39f02eee9503fcd531...

http://www.time.com/time/asia/news/magazine/0,9754,201976,00.html

i made it easier for the inapt here and quoted that below from a bodyguard who escaped from his 'living god' from the site just above this ie the times site

"Lee met his boss for the first time on Jan. 1, 1979, shortly after graduating. Standing in front of the man he had been taught was a living god, he blurted out his prepared lines—his name, hometown, parents' names and a fulsome expression of gratitude—but only just: "I was shaking. I was so nervous I couldn't talk right."

that last link doesn't work funnily enough so just google
'north korea's living god'
the timeasia link is the 5th down

i googled those about him so stop flaming/baiting or ill tell you how fucking dumb you are too:D
