Does anyone know what area of a fred meyer/walmart/superstore/drugstore would have a digital gram scale? i just spent 30 minutes looking for one and the employees were no help.

they don't. Order it on ebay. I spent 15 bucks on a 500gram digi scale that measure down to 1 gram with a .2 accuracy.

There are plenty of websites on the net that sell cheap and decent scales.

Postage scales usually measure in increments of ounces, because that's how postage is billed.
You might find food scales in one of those superstores, but they're not typically accurate down to small enough increments either. Maybe 1 gram at best.
For our purposes, you probably want something accurate to at least 0.1 grams. Both for measuring out cultivation supplies, and the final product (dosages and such). I've actually got two scales, one that does down to 0.1 and a smaller capacity one that does down 25mg (0.025) and make use of both of them at times.
edit: ok fine you found one for 0.1 already while i was typing up this response thanks for wasting my time!

haha, met your demands, it was sorta pricey, but it'll work for what I need it for.
And the reason I bought it wasn't for measuring out doses I cap doses.
the reason i bought it was for measuring my ingredients for orchata :P

There were 2 cheaper ones, but they only did 1 gram and 1/8 ounces respectively.

i got it at fred meyer, it was around 30 bucks i believe. there was a 20 dollar and a 15 dollar one too... the reason it goes to .1 is because it's designed for diabetics or something, haha. anyways, like i said, i'm more interested in using it in my kitchen

also, just so you know... I wouldn't advise using this to dose shrooms or anything... who knows how accurate it is... it could be accurate to +-1 gram or something... doesn't say on the packaging.

Test it then. A US nickle weighs 5 grams. A US dollar weights 1 gram. Both of them are exact.
Shit, you guys should know that. You should calibrate before every important measurement. I'm not going to let anybody pull any bent scale shit on me!
