links needed for amanita identification

I found some mushrooms that I suspect are Amanita muscaria var. formosa, but I'd like to make sure they aren't A. regalis or some other lookalike. Can anyone provide links with detailed info that'll help me tell the difference? Sorry if something like this is in the FAQ, but if it is, I missed it.
I'll post an ID thread later for some confirmation, but I want to try to make the ID on my own first, so I learn how.

The best site on the Internets for Amanitas is, without a doubt:
http://pluto.njcc.com/~ret/amanita/mainaman.html
You won't find a specific answer to your question, but the information you need for most Amanita identification in North America is there.
Happy mushrooming!
