I've had a tree get struck in my back yard maybe 4-5 years ago. I wasn't home so I couldn't tell you much about it but a near by tree got real messed up. It started losing it's leaves in the summer and gaining leaves in the winter... it didn't last long after that started.

Opposite of season, that's interesting.

I thought it was pretty cool and would be interested in what caused it (my guess would be the heat) the leaves would change and everything in late June.
