Saw them at Bonnaroo, they sounded fantastic! You'll have an absolute blast, don't worry.

i was really disappointed. i thought they would pull out some cutting-edge, innovative shit. for the most part, trey just turned them into his backup band.
plus they played the same setlist numerous nights in a row, just in a different order.

i saw them open for Phil in Camden...
not impressed. it was baiscailly a trey showcase with weird dinky shit in between songs. they were noodling and never really found a groove. if trey is going to play in a 4 piece band...might as well bring back Phish...
trey with phil was rocking though. they were on fire this night, played great tunes. st stephen, the eleven, rosemary, terrapin, fire on the mountain. awesome groove for the second set with some intense jamming.

I did actually leave midway through their set at All Good, but they got off to a great start with Who Are You. I think they started playing Phish songs, and I'm not a huge fan.
Oysterhead with Les Claypool earlier that afternoon wasn't too bad, although someone I talked to said he didn't even realize Trey was on the stage. Not a good sign.

Duo rules. Trey kinda sucks now. He was better off playing Phish tunes. This "Shine" crap is just that, IMO - CRAP. And boring.

UNBELEIVABLE!!!!!!
scored 3rd rows from a scalper, traded up my ZZ, last row of the place.
Duo set rocked, and the 4 of them fucking rocked way harder than anything ive DL'd from this summer tour, and beat out anything i was expecting.
the acoustic/banjo set was sweet tits, sing-along w.3200 ppl for waste, on the road again was killer.
having beers with mike at the bier markt was fucking killer too, but it sounded like those old mikes corner ramblings for a bit there.
trey rambling about wanting to play a canadian tune since the show was in toronto, plkayed These Eyes, Guess Who, was awesome, marco and russo were playin with trey at the end though, making him sing higher and higher and higher until trey was laughing his ass off. rough but hilarious ending.
killer.
i recommend you go next time with an open mind, it was NOT a trey showcase, in fact, they played 80% duo tunes, 20% phish/trey tunes
