dusting = no bueno
    #5883611 - 07/21/06 03:32 AM (17 years, 6 months ago)

So the other day 2 of my friends were going to leave for a month and get things straightened out.

so lets hang out, yea?

i had a g of salvia and a pipe so i figured after walking to get food (its over 100 degrees, desert) lets walk over to target, smoek thsi stuff and go inside to cool off

..well we get to target, and my friend Thomas, who is well... not too bright, tells us "omg, you guys should try dusting its soo much fun" were just like yea ok, lets see..

inside target he goes striaght to the dust off(salvia after this) instantly puts it in his mouth and takes a full hit of it.  his voice was as deep as darth vador as he said "omg im so fucked up" and continued to walk around the isles for about 30 seconds.  his voice comes back mostly and he picks up the can again, and does anoter hit.
but, this time as he finishes it, he drops the can gets wobbly, and falls striahg to the floor (luckily my other firnd caught him) .... he isnt moving, his eyes had rolled back as droll runs out of hsi mouth to hsi shoulder, and he even stopped breathing.

needless to ssay, we were fucking freaked out!! after him laying there pretty much 'dead' for jsut under a minute.  then, all of the sudden he bolts upright and grabs the can a 3rd time! (were jsut relieved to know hes alive) he attempts to put it in his mouth, but we were jsut like 'no fucking way thomas' and grabbed it away.

of course, we asked him if he knew he passed out, he didnt say much (still out of it) jsut that it always happens but he doesnt remember it.

so then we went outside smoked some salvia, i didnt get any effects bc i smoked it the day before too :frown: but they got real messed up and we walked to the bedstore. the end.

dusting is scary shit! i am curious to try it though, but no way will i ever do as muhc as he had, no matter how little it really was.

Duster is insainly stupid to use. It /can/ kill you. The risks of using it arnt just 'govt spread bullshit to scare kids away from a good legal high', but real risks that can cause real damage and possibly leave you dead.

yes i had a scary experience in our dark room once. my friend was doing duster(i never have nor would) and he pretty much blanked out laughing over nothing when our teacher was talking to him for like 30 seconds, then snapped back like nothing was wrong. i had fun talking to his councilor that day.

The part about him waking up and immediately going for a third is classic.

And ...uh ...I hate to be the dumbass of the group but what, exactly, is "dusting."

dusting is when you inhale the air duster used to clean out key boards ect. it gets all frosty cold when you spray it.

imo not knowing what duster is makes you less of a dumbass, because anyone that does it has not respect for them selves.

I know its not nitrous. I think that its not the actual gas that is shot out, its the different chemicals that are used to keep it compressed, like the liquid that shoots out if you spray it upside down, but im not sure.

Thats probably one of the dumbest things I've heard...

Friends don't let friends do duster.

no, really.

Friends don't let friends do duster.

Such inhalants have an exceptionally high death rate.

These chemicals become acutely dangerous in concentrations above 1.000 ppm. He took 1.000.000 ppm - the undiluted gas.
He is lucky not to have died.

Ask yourself this: What would you guys have done if his heart had stopped? Well?
How do you do CPR?
Check pulse first?
How many pumps, how many breaths?
Anyone got a cell phone?
Will he be OK?
Should we call 911?

Irreversible braindamage sets in at 5 minutes. You wasted 1 already just standing here asking yourself this.

You should smoke your salvia at home or a friends house. Before you go in the bed store is a bad idea.
