HBWR vs MG intensity: A matter of alkaloid content?

So from my understanding LSA is the only active content in morning glories and hbwr. However upon thinking about this I realized this may not be the case as 10 hbwr seeds is 2 grams and 400 mg seeds is 10 grams. I went to erowid to read more and came up with this article.
http://www.erowid.org/plants/hbw/hbw_info1.shtml
*************************************************************************** LAA% Total Alks. % by weight
Hawaiian baby wood rose: 0.04 0.30 Ololiuqui: 0.02 0.04 Heavenly Blue: 0.01 0.02 Pearly Gates: 0.02 0.03 Wedding Bells: 0.01 0.03
Taken from : Isolation and Identification of Lysergic Acid Amide and Isolysergic Acid Amide as the Principal Ergoline Alkaloids in _Argyreia nervosa_, a tropical wood rose. Michael D. Miller (Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (cool how do I get his job?). Journal of the AOAC, vol 53(1):123-7, 1970.
*************************************************************************** Major Alkaloid Content in the seeds of A. nervosa(Burm. f.) Bojer
[snip] % of Total alkaloid % dry seed weight Ergine 22.68 0.136 Isoergine 31.36 0.188 Ergometrine 8.20 0.049 Lys. alpha-OH-ethylamide 5.79 0.035 IsoLys. || 3.98 0.024
Taken from:
Ergoline Alkaloidal Constituents of Hawaiian Baby Wood Rose, _Argyreia nervosa_ (Burm. f.) Bojer. Jew-Ming Chao and Ara H. Der Marderosian. Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences 62(4):588-91. 1973.
***********************************************************************
All these alkaloids listed here can be hydrolysed into Lysergic Acid. This will also racemate it, but so what, according to this chart the iso form is more predominant anyway, racemization should thus produce more of the biol. active form. Also, isolation of the iso form (chromatography) followed by racemization will give still more active stuff, but probably not worth the trouble.
As can be seen here HBWR only has twice the LSA as MG yet is 40x more potent. Other alkaloids make up .26 % of the seed weight. Whereas MG is mostly pure LSA.
Does anyone know anything about these other alkaloids/actives?

The ratio of different alkaloids in morning glory seeds arnt the same in morning glory as they are in HBWR, so the trip is different between the two. I have had way better trips with morning glory than HBWR but mg arnt really that reliable anyway. I once had an amazing trip with 2.5g of morning glory seeds that was better than 16 HBWR. It also was a different kind of trip that was more similar to shrooms instead of just being a frusterating mind loop with shitty visuals.

Twards the bottom of that page theres some information about the psychoactive effects of ergine and isoergine.

Excellent link. I've been wondering about this myself. As in since MG contains only LSA is it a different/better trip than HBWR. This new development is intriguing... I've only experienced HBWR but I will bioassay some MG to compare. Thankms for your response.

in rites of the spring lecture Terence Mackenna staits that A.Nervosa seeds are the plant part with more active alkaloids in the world -or at least one with the bigest ratio per biomass. Rivea corymbosa is alegedly the one prefere by natives of the south america wehere its native to, mornig glory are their second choise, as for A.Nervosa the con is that thay contains an alkaloid that makes your body react as if had been been bitend by a ratle-snake
