will these canning jars work?

i bought a case of Ball Wide-mouth Tapered 1/2 pint jars. now the PF-tek says to use Ball 1/2 pint jelly jars, Kerr wide-mouth 1/2 pint canning jars, or Ball regular-mouth 1/2 pint cannig jars. will the ones that i bought work?

Yes they will work. Wide mouth tapered are the best especially if you are going to use the"cake" method. Any type will work for casing.

that's what i have. the wide mouth makes it easier to get the cake out whole.
