This is one of my past times, Its an interesting skill I have (or believe I have) became skilled at. Just wondering if anyone else out there has tried it???
http://www.reiki.nu/index.html
Intresting site for those that want to learn about it at all.

i had reiki done on me during a deep tissue massage.
she started with the solar plexus and after about 30 seconds i started to feel suppressed waves of happiness bubbling up, it was very nice, but it was like i was blocked from feeling it fully.
she then went to the throat, i just felt her energy kind of, not a chakra opening though, and then the heart, where i didn't feel a lot either.
i tried to do reiki on my dog becuase he is suffering immensely from bad arthritis.... i spent a long time on the solar plexus (but did all chakras, if dogs have all chakras) and after a while on the plexus he suddenly looked up at me in approval.... and it's hard for him to crane his neck to look upwards without pain.
i tried to tell my brother to work on his solar plexus but he didn't seem to believe me
i only see the dog once a week or so so I can't entirely help him that much.

Actually I'm taking some reiki classes right now and for the moment I'm at grade III and find reiki to be really kool and easy to learn. Also self healings are excellent and give me gerat energy and power and had good results on others too. Also it hepled me by sending myself good energies in time or different places I knew I'll need help. It's a really kool thing to learn and can have great results, I've even tried it once whyle tripping and it was totally mindblowing for me and the one I tripped with.

That's cool. That is similar to what I practice. I do a combination of a few things, reiki, acupressure, deep tissue, and I also help w/ relaxation techniques. Its really quite neat. I didn't realize how talented I was until I was repeatedly told by friends.. but this is a neat little chart you might be interested in then.. Charkra's also go by your sign so that maybe why you reacted more intensely than others.

I must say it is weird though alot of knowledge I have came through years of meditation and martial arts. Anyone can learn it.. If you are interested you should try to take a class! I even use it on my cat..

thanks for the chart
i've never heard "ksam" as a mantra though, for the third eye i've heard it "aum" mostly and no mantra for the crown.
it's really about time i started properly opening chakras, understanding them, and transcending a bit.
