In my limited experience so far, Ecuadors seem to love birdseed...

I use a millet based, cheapo brand, Audobon, I think. I rinse it really well, steep for about 20 minutes, rinse again with boiled water, add to fars then PC for 45 minutes @ 15 PSI.

Works like a champ so far!
