interesting trichocereus hybrid

It's mother was a T. Pachanoi var. Juul's Giant, the father is an SS01 (peruvianoid, macroganoid, who knows?). Near the bottom is a nice little variegated strip.

Another pic to show spine structure and it's beautiful skin color.

i thought SS01 was a bridgesii but i dont have one myself so what do i know, just something i read somewhere sometime
anyways that is a greatlooking cactus

I could be wrong, but I think the SS03 is the bridgesoid.

My price list here says... SS01=peruvianoid SS02=bridgesiioid
But they have alot of crosses, including crosses of those 2. Tricho SS01 X Tricho SS02 and Tricho SS02 X Tricho SS01-same but with switched parents.

i remember seeing what i thought was a macrogonus in someones yard in phoenix, it looked to be the thickest and most vigourous tricho i had seen, with prob like 12 ribs

Not many pachanoid/peruvianoid get 12 ribs. I think even 9 is an anomaly.
Of course I would trust the word of people with more experience in the matter, like faslimy, over mine.

did i say it was a peruvian or pachanoi, no i said i thought it was macrogonius. Trichos can have well over 12 ribs. I knew it wasnt a preuvian you peruvianushole

Hey bro Have you experienced the SS01 x SS02 or ss02 cactus? Did it feel stronger than other cacti? was there any difference?
