My mycobag slowed waaaay down...

I have a mycobag going that I got from The Mad Season and inoculated with some Cambodian that I got from Ralph.
This was my first time, and in my anxiousness, I forgot to shake the bag; which is probably the problem. However, I'd like some opinions anyway.
I inoculated somewhere around this time last month. It was colonizing very nicely, till it got almost halfway colonized. This was three weeks ago, and now it's only a little over half colonized.
Right now the bag is in a dark cabinet sort of place. It's definetly warm. Before, it had been in my closet. It's been in it's new place for a couple of days. I think it's showing signs of a very little bit more growth, but does anyone know what I could do to help it?
Also, If the problem really is that I didn't shake up the grain, is it too late to do it? I've heard of people shaking partially colonized bags, but I'm not sure enough about it to go and give my bag shaken baby syndrome.
thanks.

Let me make myself very clear on this.
I can take my mycobag and shake it -just like you would shake a rainmaker or something- to mix it up, and it won't hurt the mycellium?

Yes. You want to break up the colonized substrate and mix it into the uncolonized. should be very easy with a bag. It will take 24-48hrs to recover from the shock and then should start colonizing again. Wont hurt anything.
a 3 week stall is a while though - no signs of contams?

As far as I can tell, no contams. But when I started shaking it, I realized how compact it was. I had a fair deal of trouble loosening it up, so I can imagine how difficult it was for the mycellium.
