Hello. I am quite concerned with my cakes right now.
They've been incubating 9 days now and the whole out side of 85% of them are fully colonised with *white substance*.
I don't know now if it is myc or cobweb as I hear cobweb grows quite rapidly.
Here are some pics (i know my camera isnt the best but try and see)

Its probably myc, not 85% only colonized the surface of the jar. It has to eat its way into the centre. Lift the foil and have a smell , (don't take lid off)....is it bad or shroomy?
P.S. for better pics clear area so camera has nothing else to focus on but the jar.(distance between the jar and lens of camera is impotent.) Be careful when using flash when taking photos of jars or you will only get flare

It looks like healthy mycellium but then again the pics are kind of blurry. The best way to tell is the color. Cobweb is traditionally more of a grey color while mycellium is a healthy white maybe even cream colored. Also cobweb looks more like strands of hair, mycellium almost looks like little fingers reaching in every direction.
These are my perceptions, yours could be drastically different. I can usually tell by the color, if you have two specifically different colored white masses in your jar, one of them is probably cobweb. If everything looks pretty uniform your probably ok.

I wasnt saying the whole jar was 85%, just the visible outside.
I don't expect my jars to have been colonised THAT fast in 9 days :P
Thanks alot for the help guys.
