Properties of Identity

Yesterday I sat alone on my porch observing the chaotic cycle of idenity. People are born, are given a name, are sent to school, get jobs, get married, have kids, then die. What is the point? It happens over and over again. Just in different gears of intelligence and reality, I beleive that nothing changes as far a people getting smarter.(the word "smart" is always a perception and always changes)
Let me demonstrate... I will now cut off my hand. Is my hand still me? Is it separate from me?(the word "separate" is defined by the perceivable judgement collected optically) Hair is dead...finger nails are dead...doe's that make me dead? Or is it the "fact" that it is attached to a living organism. How can you tell that its attached? what is the definition of "attached". Would I be wrong to assume that EVERYTHING is attached? I am attached to the air, because I breate and it becomes a part of me. Just because something isn't in a solidified unit of matter. Therefore idenity is only a name or a label we put on things we can't collaborate with. This may seem like an undisguised fact... or it may not.
I am water... well over 90 percent anyway. I speculate that I (water) go back to the earth after I "die". Do I remain "me"? What happens to the name given to that matter. Just a memory? With no spirit/eternal being to be used as a container or mirror of my being. I then become bottled and sold at a gas station. I have now become YOU.
The brain is a very interesting thing... it is the only thing I have found that I believe to believe in itself. But only bottled water. If chemicals (if aligned in the right sequence at the right pressure and temperature...ect...ect...) can become this "creature" or "indentity" that beleives in itself, and believes that it can choose what it believes.
What if (in aspects of psychological windows of your mind in which you perceive the world) I was mentaly concave, and you are mentaly convex? Do you think you could perceive yourself as a being? How do you think I would? You would still be yourself, I would be myself. However I would be me as you see me, also as I see myself (two separate identities)
I guess the question is not whether these identities exist, but in whether anything is an absolute indentity.

What's the point? Does it have to have a point? Why do animals do it? Because that's what they are, it's in their genese, it's the same with humans, only sometimes humans stop and think about it like you do.
But, the point of these cycles is to advance so much that one day we can "repair" our flesh and stop death. Then we can have a compleatly new meaning to life because there will be no cycles, and we can live for ever. Eternal life is just a matter of finding cures for deaseases and stop aging, which is caused by decreasing blood circulation. It's not simple to acomplish, but it's a simple problem in its core, nothing misterious.

in its core indeed...how do you find the "core"? And what happens when we discover "eternal life"? We fill the world with people and people kill each other. I believe it will start all over someday at "the begining" where ever that is.
